Not only is the weather traditionally warm and sunny at this time of the year in the Costa del Sol but Easter is a time of traditional celebration in Spain.
The Easter week celebrations in Malaga are famous for their huge processional pasos (religious statues), some of which require more than two hundred “costaleros” to carry their weight. These take place between 17th and 24th April.
During Easter it is also traditional to have ‘mona’ (Spanish Easter cake)
